We strongly condemn Thailand’s deadly use of force against Cambodia, its civilians and ancient religious temples. Deliberate or reckless attacks that endanger non-combatants, violate sovereignty, and undermine ceasefire commitments are grave breaches of international law and must be treated with the utmost seriousness including investigation for potential war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Thailand must immediately halt all military operations, withdraw from escalatory actions, and recommit to peaceful dispute resolution through ASEAN and international legal mechanisms. We call for an independent, internationally supported investigation, full accountability for those responsible, and urgent protection and assistance for affected civilians. Peace and human dignity cannot be negotiated at gunpoint.
